What To Expect
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Also, take some time to review our dental staff page and familiarize yourself with the doctor. We look forward to your first visit.
First Visit
When you arrive for your first dental visit, please bring your dental insurance card and a driver's license (or some other type of identification) and a list of current medications. You will be asked to complete a patient registration form and a medical history form. If you have dental insurance, you will be asked to pay your deductible and copay at the first visit. If you contact us before the appointment, we can estimate the fees for you.
Routine first visits for adults are usually scheduled with the doctor. Information about your oral care concerns and appropriate digital x-rays will be taken and reviewed. Any needed treatment will be recommended to address your specific needs. Please reserve at least an hour of your time for his appointment. Routine first visits for those under 21 years of age are scheduled with one of our hygienists.
We respect the importance of your time and work very hard to schedule appointments that accommodate the busy scheduling needs of our patients. In return, we ask that patients make every effort not to change reserved dental appointments. If you find you must change your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours advanced notice so we may accommodate another patient.
